Kevin Durant recently made headlines by calling his former teammate and current analyst Kendrick Perkins a “sell out” after he criticised Kyrie Irving for his initiative to sit out the season resumption. Sports analyst Colin Cowherd thinks that the Brooklyn Nets superstar shouldn’t be calling others a “sell out” because of his own history.

Cowherd remembered Durant’s move from Oklahoma City Thunder to the Golden State Warriors in 2016. OKC lost in seven games to the Dubs in 2016 Western Conference Finals, despite holding a 3-1 lead in the series. The move was viewed by many as a betrayal.

“Kevin Durant is the last guy in the league who can call anybody a “sell out”, and I like him. What was the Oklahoma City to Golden State move? It was the definition,” said Cowherd.
