The Houston Rockets may have more in stake than any other team, if the season returns. James Harden is surrounded by several talented individuals through-out the last 7 years, but never led his team to the Finals.

According to Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report, the Rockets may start a full-on rebuild, if they don’t make a deep playoff push this season.

“Houston knows it’s up against the shot clock. Last summer’s Chris Paul-for-Westbrook swap was an all-in push on Harden’s behalf. The deadline deal sending out Clint Capela to fully commit to small ball was an all-in move for Westbrook and D’Antoni. There aren’t any chips left to push to the center of the table.”

If the season restarts, the Houston Rockets will try to win it all, as they surrounded James Harden and Russell Westbrook with the appropriate talent.

With coach Mike D’Antoni concluding his contract after the season ends, the future of the team could certainly be on the line.
