Like most people in basketball world, Joel Embiid watched the Chicago Bulls dynasty docuseries ‘The Last Dance’. The Philadelphia 76ers center saw similarities between him and Michael Jordan. Embiid thinks he could be the guy that pushes his teammates to get better the way that Michael Jordan did back in the day.

Per Paul Hudrick of NBC Sports:

“I did watch it. It was interesting,” Embiid said. “I saw a lot of similarities and a lot of people have told me that. … I can also be that guy, I just need to keep putting in the work and that’s what I’ve been doing.”

This season, the 26-year-old Cameroonian is averaging 23.4 points, 11.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He will be making the NBA return as the Sixers are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference and will be among the teams taking part in season resumption.
