Real Madrid has signed Jaycee Carroll to a new one-year contract, as the club announced on May 28.

“I am very happy and encouraged. When I came to Europe I always had the dream of finding a place in an important team and making it a home for me,” Carroll said after signing his new deal. “There is still a lot to compete for and I have the desire to win more titles and play at the highest level.”

Carroll has played with Real Madrid since 2011.

This season, he averaged 10.7 points per game in the Spanish ACB and 7.9 points per game in the EuroLeague.

It was recently reported that Carroll was expected to re-sign with Real Madrid for one more season.
