Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins reacted to a recently released audio in which Michael Jordan can be heard saying he will not play for the Dream Team if Isiah Thomas is on it. This record contradicts Jordan’s statement on ‘The Last Dance’ that he had nothing to do with Thomas’ snub from the Dream Team.
Perkins was critical of such behavior by the Chicago Bulls legend. He called out MJ for using ‘The Last Dance’ to make himself look like a superhero while others were portrayed as villains.
“I’m glad [Michael Jordan] is not my GOAT. … He lied, he threw everybody under the bus. At the end of the day, The Last Dance was to make MJ look like a super hero, and make everybody else look like a villain,” he said on ESPN’s First Take.
