Reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most wanted players in the league. It has been reported numerous times that the Greek forward is happy in Milwaukee. But, according to numerous reports, his decision to stay with the Bucks will depend on how well the teams do in the playoffs.

With the this season still hanging in the balance due to coronavirus pandemic, the Eastern Conference leaders might not even get the chance to make a run for the title. This situation has reportedly changed things so drastically for Giannis that it is difficult to predict his future moves, per Marc Berman of the New York Post:

“Antetokounmpo seems to want to stay in Milwaukee when he becomes a 2021 free agent, but only if the Bucks stand as a title contender. Sources indicate the pandemic has changed things so drastically, it’s hard to pinpoint Antetokounmpo’s future plans.”

The above was posted in response to a fan’s question about the possibility for Knicks to land Antetokounmpo in 2021 when he becomes a free agent. But New York will be just one of many teams that will be making plans lure the 25-year-old superstar. Golden State often comes up in rumors as the favorite to make the big signing.

This season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds and assists per game and is widely considered a favorite for another MVP title.
