Two-time NBA champion, eleven-time NBA All-Star Chris Bosh told a story why he changed his jersey’s number from 4 to 1, when he arrived at the Miami Heat to join Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.

“I always get asked, why did you change your NBA number from 4 to 1 when you went from the Toronto Raptors to the Miami Heat. I believe the number 1 represents winning and championships. So coming to Miami, it was a no brainer to change my number, but there’s a lot more to that,” Bosh said.

“This story dates all the way back to my days at Lincoln High School in Texas, when we won a national championship my senior year!” he added.
