LeBron James took to Twitter and commented on Michael Jordan’s infamous number change in the middle of the 1995 NBA playoffs.

James claimed Jordan reverting from No. 45 to his familiar No. 23 jersey in the middle of a playoff series was one of the most awesome moves in his career.

The Chicago Bulls immediately retired Jordan’s No. 23 jersey after his first retirement in 1993 in order to honor the greatest player in franchise history.

Consequently, Jordan opted to wear No. 45 upon his return in the 1994-95 season. Jordan switched back to the No. 23 between Games 1 and 2 of the Bulls’ second-round matchup against the Orlando Magic.
