Donald Sterling speaks, but Bill Simmons has the last laugh

Disgraced Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who was banned for life and fined $2.5m recently broke his silence on the matter in an interview with Dujour.com saying that he wishes he had just paid off V.Stiviano, who was involved in the racist conversation.

In the accompanied ESPN.com video though, Grantland editor Bill Simmons starts by talking about the website credited with the story on Sterling, which is absolutely brilliant.

Ettore Messina on Lakers coaching list?

The Los Angeles Lakers are right now in an unfamiliar position: Not playing in the playoffs [sorry, Lakers fans], but it does give the legendary club to prepare for next season properly.

One of the priorities though is looking for a new head coach after Mike D’Antoni left his post last week. The Lakers have announced that they are in no rush to look for a new coach but have got a list of names prepared.

One of those names is CSKA Moscow coach and former Lakers assistant coach Ettore Messina. Whom the Associated Press regards as a surprising choice.

Messina was with the Lakers in 2012 and returned to CSKA where he has led them to back-to-back Euroleague Final Four appearances.
