Adriatic league round up (week 19)

In the first Saturday game, MZT Skopje outscored Mega Vizura by 80-72, and became first team this season, that beat all four Serbian ABA League teams. Newcomer Sead Sehovic had 20 points and 5 assists, on the other end Ratko Varda scored 23 points. MZT is still fighting for final tournament, they are three victories behind fourth spot.

After Eurocup victory against Strasbourg, everybody expected easy home victory for Radnicki, but Szolnoki won the game by 92-81.  Vojvoda led the guests with 26 points, while Justin Holiday scored 19 pts, 9 rebounds. Sava Lesic had 19 points and 7 rebounds for Radnicki. It looks almost unbelievable, but players of home team fired 46 three pointers, made 12.

Siroki hosted Cedevita, and lost game by 68-73. Home team didn’t scored for last 6 minutes of the game! Once again, great game for young Jusuf Nurkic, who scored 14 points and grab 7 rebounds. On the other end, experienced big man Drago Pasalic scored 20 points, but got fouled out two minutes before the end.

Igokea won the second game in a row, since head coach became Vlado Jovanovic. Olimpija had 14 point lead on the halftime, but that wasn’t enough. Nemanja Gordic scored 29 points, most of them in the second half. For Olimpija, Dino Muric scored 13 points, Omic 11 points and 5 rebounds.

Another easy win for Crvena Zvezda, this time against Buducnost,  by 74-64. In the most of the game, red and whites had big advantage, on the end of third quarter huge 23 points. Rasko Katic scored 16 points, DeMarcus Nelson scored 14 and 5 assists. For Buducnost big man Jeleel Akindele scored 12 points and had 5 rebounds.

Derby match between Cibona and Partizan, is scheduled for Tuesday, 19pm. Very important game  for both teams,  struggling to secure their spot on the  final four tournament.
