The Denver Nuggets are about to promoting to the general manager position the former 10-year NBA veteran and Assistant Manager of the team, Calvin Booth, per Shams Charania.

The 43-year-old executive will replace the former GM Arturas Karnisovas, who was named the new President of Basketball Operations in Chicago.

Booth joined the Nuggets in 2017 as assistant general manager, after he started his career in New Orleans as a scout. Booth will serve as the new general manager under the Nuggets’ president of basketball operations Tim Connelly.
