Karnisovas, will take the place of John Paxson, who has been running the Bulls’ basketball operations since 2003 per ESPN.

Both sides agreed on a multi-year deal on Wednesday night and Karnisovas will be in charge of all basketball operations for the Chicago Bulls. The team’s inability to reach the postseason for the last 2 years gives Karnisovas the task to reshape the organisation as a total and lead them back to success.

The team will also hire a new General Manager, scouters and additional basketball operations.

According to ESPN, Karnisovas had an a lengthy virtual interview with Bulls chief operating officer, Michael Reinsdorf, on Tuesday.
