The Portland Trail Blazers were to blame for the injury-plagued career of Greg Oden, according to Travis Outlaw.

The former NBA player believes the Blazers ‘pushed Oden too hard’ to return and that made things worse.

“I felt like they tried to push him too hard. I really thought, like, let him feel his way out first and then you feed him,” Outlaw said during his appearance on Channing Frye’s podcast Talkin’ Blazers.

Oden played only 82 games in three seasons with the Blazers and another 23 with the Miami Heat before leaving the NBA.
