Theo Maledon declared himself eligible for the 2020 NBA draft as he personally announced with an e-mail on ESPN.

The French guard plays in the EuroLeague and French LNB for ASVEL Villeurbanne, averaging 7.1 points and 2.3 assists in 17 minutes, being the best young player in the competition this season.

As a result, Maledon is projected as a first round pick with several mock drafts placing him in the lottery for the 2020 NBA Draft.

A product of the famous INSEP Academy in France, he played in professional level by the time he was just 16 years old, while, this season, got plenty of time in the court in the best competition of the European stage.
