David Griffin claimed that Didi Louzada’s experience in Australia will prove useful in his developmental curve. The Pelicans Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin joined Fox Sports New Orleans and Jennifer Hale. In particular, among other things, he commented on Didi Louzada’s development as a player in the Australian League.

“We were able to get Didi really far ahead of the curve in his development,” Griffin said for the 20-years old guard. “Because we knew unequivocally that Will and his staff were going to do a phenomenal job. It was a really positive thing for us that Sydney was the team Didi ended up with.

His development on a very veteran team that had the best record in their league the vast majority of the season, as a starter and defensive stopper, is exactly what we wanted. The future is very bright there as a potential three-and-D stopper who can guard multiple positions,” Griffin added.

Louzada averaged 10.3 points in 20 NBL games for the Sydney Kings, while being impressive on the defensive end of the floor from his wing position.
