One of the smoothest ball handlers, 3x NBA Sixth Man of the Year and 19-year NBA veteran Jamal Crawford turned 40 today.

Last season with the Phoenix Suns, Crawford became the only player in NBA history to score 50 points with four different teams:

  • Chicago Bulls (2004) 50 points, 18-34 FG
  • New York Knicks (2007) 52 points, 20-30 FG
  • Golden State Warriors (2008) 50 points, 14-26 FG
  • Suns (2019) 51 points, 18-30 FG

Crawford also broke two NBA records with his 50-point game last season with the Suns.

At 39 years and 20 days, he became the oldest player to score 50+ points in a game, as the old record was held by Michael Jordan at 38 years and 315 days.

Crawford also scored the most points (51) for a player coming off the bench, as the old record was held by Nick Anderson with 50 points.

He also recorded a career-high 14 assists in a game against the Knicks last season.
