Joel Embiid told then GM of the Cleveland Cavaliers David Griffin to pick him first in the 2014 Draft.
During a 2014 draft workout with the Cavs, Embiid was telling GM Griffin to take him with the top pick.
However, Griffin and the Cavs decided to pick Andrew Wiggins and Embiid was selected in No.3 by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Griffin, though, admits Embiid’s workout was one of the best he’d ever seen.
