The NBA lock-down has been a reality in the past few days, with the Portland Trail Blazers announcing that they will formulate a plan to pay their part-time arena employees.

As Jayson Quick of the Athletic reported, the team will compensate its employees for the 9 home games canceled by the NBA because of the coronavirus.

The NBA decided to suspend the season after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for coronavirus. In particular, the NBA commissioner Adam Silver said the league will be suspended for ‘at least 30 days’ amid the coronavirus outbreak.
