Twenty four European teams are about to find out their opponents in EuroBasket 2013. The draw ceremony, which will take place in Postojna Cave, begins at 18:00 CET. Follow all the action LIVE on TalkBasket.
Among many top basketball figures, the draw ceremony will also feature seven legendary basketball players: Radoslav Nesterovic, Peter Vilfan, Ivo Daneu (all three of the mare official EuroBasket 2013 ambassadors), Aljosa Zorga, Jorge Garbajosa, Ibrahim Kutluay and Alexander Volkov.
The teams will be placed in four groups. First round games will be played in four cities – Jesenice, Koper, Celje and Ljubljana. EuroBasket 2013 will be held from 4-22 September 2013.
There will be four groups formed, each consisting of six teams, from different pots. All teams have been seeded before the draw and put into six draw puts. The seeding is as follows:
