Shaq McKissic was unstoppable offensively and led Olympiacos to the 81-78 win over rivals Panathinaikos at home.

In a game where neither team led by more than eight points at any stage, the “Reds” led throughout the third quarter before the “Greens” fought back to force several ties in the fourth.

But, Olympiacos stood tall and finished stronger to earn the victory and remain alive in the playoff race.

McKissic had a game-high 22 points in his home debut with Olympiacos, whereas Nick Calathes posted a team-high 18 points for Panathinaikos.

DeShaun Thomas missed the chance to force overtime on the final play and Panathinaikos dropped to 14-13 and is sixth in the standings.

On the other hand, Olympiacos improved to 12-15 and maintained a playoff push.
