Otto Porter played his first game since he suffered a left foot fracture at Atlanta in November 6. After almost 17 weeks of absence, Porter came off the bench to score 18 points and help the Bulls win for the second time in their last 12 games.
The Mavericks tried to “steal” the game at the final possesion, but Luka Doncic did not make the desperation three. Chicago snapped its two-game losing skid without leading scorer Zach LaVine, who was out with a left quad strain.
