Chicago Bulls delivered a wire-to-wire performance Saturday night, cruising past the Dallas Mavericks 125-107 at the United Center to snap a three-game losing streak.
Coby White scored 22 points and Ayo Dosunmu added 20 as Chicago improved to 18-20 with one of its most balanced offensive efforts of the season.
The Bulls placed seven players in double figures and never trailed, controlling tempo early and turning defensive stops into consistent transition scoring.
Chicago outscored Dallas 38-8 in fast-break points and shot 51.5 percent from the field, repeatedly beating the Mavericks down the floor after misses and turnovers.
Nikola Vucevic and Matas Buzelis each finished with 15 points, with Vucevic also pulling down 12 rebounds to anchor the interior.
Dallas opened the night without Anthony Davis, who is sidelined with ligament damage in his left hand, and the visitors faced further adversity early.
Head coach Jason Kidd was ejected midway through the first quarter after arguing a goaltending call with referee Scott Foster, drawing two technical fouls.
Despite the disruption, the Mavericks stayed within striking distance through the opening period, trailing by eight before the game tilted heavily in Chicago’s favor.
A 13-2 Bulls run in the second quarter stretched a seven-point margin to 59-41 on Buzelis’ fast-break layup with just over four minutes remaining in the half.
Chicago continued to apply pressure after intermission, forcing Dallas into rushed possessions and capitalizing with quick outlet passes and early offense.
The home side blew the game open in the fourth quarter, using a 21-4 surge to turn a 10-point contest into a commanding 115-88 lead, the largest margin of the night.
Ryan Nembhard led the Mavericks with 16 points and six assists, while rookie Cooper Flagg was limited to 11 points and one rebound on 4-of-13 shooting.
Dallas dropped its second straight after briefly finding momentum earlier in the week, finishing at 43 percent from the field and 64 percent from the free-throw line.
Chicago also won the rebounding battle 52-42 and recorded 31 assists, a reflection of ball movement that kept Dallas’ defense in rotation throughout the game.
The Bulls head to Houston on Tuesday looking to build on the performance, while the Mavericks return home Monday to host Brooklyn.
