The Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks meet Sunday, April 12, at 8:30 PM ET at American Airlines Center with both teams already out of the playoff picture. Chicago is 31-50 and 12th in the Eastern Conference, while Dallas sits 25-56 and 13th in the West.

Chicago’s injury report is heavy on unavailable rotation players, starting with Matas Buzelis, Zach Collins, Noa Essengue, Josh Giddey, Isaac Okoro, Nick Richards, Anfernee Simons, Jalen Smith, and Guerschon Yabusele, all ruled out.

The Bulls do have a few names that could still suit up. Lachlan Olbrich is probable, while Collin Sexton and Patrick Williams are also probable.

The losses are significant on paper. Giddey has averaged 17.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 9.1 assists, while Buzelis has posted 16.3 points and 5.8 rebounds, and Sexton has supplied 17.4 points in his limited sample.

Dallas is dealing with its own long list of absences and question marks. Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II are out, while Marvin Bagley III, Daniel Gafford, Naji Marshall, Caleb Martin, P.J. Washington, and Brandon Williams are all doubtful.

The Mavericks do have three probable players in Moussa Cisse, John Poulakidas, and Tyler Smith, but that does little to replace the production lost from the injured core.

Dallas still has a clear offensive headliner in Cooper Flagg, who is averaging 21.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.
