Jahmar Young agency confirms signing today a contract with French semifinalist and Eurocup club Orleans Loiret Basket.
Young a 6’6″ player who can play multiple positions averaged 13.8 points per game in his rookie season in Belgrade with KK Crvena Zvezda and last season Young ranked 12th in scoring at 15.1 points per game and 10th in three pointers in the Eurochallenge for the Latvian club BK Ventspils.
Young finished the Latvian league season coming in second place in the Latvian championship but averaged 15.3 points per game and shot an amazing clip of 43.5% from behind the arc.
Young signed the agreement with Orleans with a NBA escape clause in case an interested NBA club shows intent to bring him to veterans camp. If not, Young appears set to become one of the more exciting young players in Eurocup.
