Every year it seems as if the Lakers have interest in nearly every player available on the trade block. This year was no different.

The Lakers could have landed Marcus Morris Senior, who is lighting it up from three this year had they been willing to part with a pick that included Kyle Kuzma and Danny Green, yet elected to stay with the squad they’ve previously assembled and not be too indecisive with their moves.

However, it was recently brought to light that the Los Angeles Lakers had been targeting former MVP and current Detroit Piston Derrick Rose. Would Rose have been a good fit in LA?

I personally think he fits better than Rajon Rondo, although Rondo is an amazing player himself. The Pistons declined to engage in trade talks with the Pistons, as the Pistons will still have Derrick Rose under contract through the end of next year and expect him to be a big part of the team as well next year.
