In what appears to be a shocking team and contract Demond Mallet signed a 1+1 agreement with the German Eurocup team Artland Dragons today. Mallet even turned down an euroleague offer due to the German team’s agressiveness.

Mallet is rumored to be the highest paid player ever in Artland history and one of the highest paid guards in Germany.

Earlier this week, Demond Mallet was named as an inductee into the college McNeese State University Hall of Fame; the same school which produced and inducted former Detroit Piston’s star Joe Dumars, a NBA Hall of Famer and NBA Fifty Greatest Player list member.

As a collegiate, Mallet was a NCAA Division I All-American Honorable Mention in 2001 while also being named the Southland Conference Player of the Year.
