Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving is likely to undergo a procedure on his right shoulder and miss an extended period of time.

Now, there is a real chance that Irving could miss the rest of the season.

Irving recently re-aggravated his shoulder injury that cost him to miss 26 games.

He has only played 20 out of 53 games this season after dealing with shoulder and recent knee injuries.

The Nets have won four out of five games since Irving went down with the knee injury.

Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert figure to be leaned on heavily during Irving’s extended absence.

LeVert averaged 24.5 points and 5.2 assists per game, on 50.0 percent shooting from three-point in that five game span and displayed great chemistry with Dinwiddie.
