Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban talked about the return of Luka Doncic after an ankle injury. The 20-year-old Slovenian superstar missed seven games and has just returned before the All-Star Weekend.
Cuban hinted at Doncic’s importance to the team, calling him a ‘meal ticket’, per The Dallas Morning News:
“[Doncic’s] good to go. The trainers aren’t stupid — you don’t mess with the meal ticket. We did the same thing with Dirk [Nowitzki], you don’t mess with the meal ticket.”

Luka appears to be in good shape since recovering from injury. He dropped 33 points in a win over the Sacramento Kings.
