Paul George was not satisfied with the way the referees were calling during the Clippers loss to the Sixers. While he didn’t explicitly called the officials out, saying there was “some home-court cooking”, it was enough for him to get fined by the NBA.
According to an official announcement by the NBA, the Clippers star was fined $35,000 for criticizing the referees. The release states that the “fine amount reflects his multiple prior violations of the rule prohibiting public criticism of the officiating.”
