The Dallas Mavericks are expected to retire the jersey of the legendary Dirk Nowitzki early next season.
The owner of the team, Mark Cuban, confirmed the news during his appearance on The Ben & Skin Show.
Nowitzki spent his entire career (21 years) with the Mavericks, leading his team to the 2011 NBA Championship. He retired at the end of the 2018/19 season.
