Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum have been named NBA Players of the Week for week 16.
Last week, Jokic averaged 27.3 points, 14.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game (including a 30/21/10 triple-double against the Utah Jazz), while Tatum averaged 29.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
Both players led their teams to go undefeated for the week, as the Nuggets went 3-0 and the Celtics went 4-0.
This is Jokic’s sixth player of the week award.
This is Tatum’s first player of the week award.
