Andre Drummond got traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the last hours of the trade deadline. The big man expressed his disappointment with the trade after playing for the Pistons since 2012.
His teammate in Detroit, Blake Griffin, posted a funny message on Instagram wishing all the best to Drummond and saying he will flagrant Drummond if he tries to dunk on Griffin.
“big fella, wish you nothing but the best on your new chapter. it was always a pleasure lining up next to you. your impact on detroit goes so far beyond the basketball court and i’m proud to say i got to witness it firsthand. good luck the rest of the way. oh and if you ever try to dunk on me i will flagrant 1 you 😂😂”
Griffin faced a similar situation himself when he was traded by the Clippers to the Pistons.
