Vince Carter scored his first NBA points in TD Garden. More specifically, he scored over his fellow 1998 draftee Paul Pierce.

Friday night, Carter played his last game in Boston with Celtic’s GM Danny Ainge honoring the veteran in his 22nd and last season of his career with a framed picture of his first made shot.

It was almost 21 year before, when Carter made his professional debut playing for the Toronto Raptors. In a season, which was limited to just 50 games due to the lockout, Carter played his first game on Feb 5,1999.

Last night, in the Hawks’ loss from the Celtics(107-112), he finished the contest with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in 24 minutes.
