Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie doesn’t want to play against the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.

“We definitely don’t want to be eighth,” Dinwiddie said. “I don’t think anybody want to play Giannis [Antetokounmpo] in the first round … don’t put me on Giannis, I can’t guard him.”

When the Nets played the Bucks earlier in the season, the Bucks blew them out by 20.

The Nets are currently battling with the Orlando Magic for playoff positioning in the Eastern Conference.

Both the Nets (currently seventh) and Magic (currently eighth) are several games behind the sixth spot.

With the Bucks all but likely to get the number one spot in the East, the Nets and Magic will be aiming to get the seventh spot to avoid the eighth spot and a likely matchup in the playoffs with Antetokounmpo and the 41-7 Bucks.
