Andre Drummond has been one of the most discussed trade targets, but the Detroit Pistons reportedly aren’t receiving the offers they would like.

Drummond can become an unrestricted free agent after this season if he declines his 2020-2021 player option.

In other words, if the player option is declined, he can become a free agent once June 30 hits.

Teams wouldn’t want to give up draft picks and other players in a trade for Drummond if they can sign him in free agency.

The uncertainty of what Drummond might do has teams around the league hesitant to make a move before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.
