The Indiana Pacers will be cautious with their star Victor Oladipo when he returns from a torn quad tendon on Jan. 29.
Oladipo is expected to have his minutes restricted and come off the bench, as he still has not practiced with the starters.
His minutes will be on a restriction through the All-Star break, then the team will re-evaluate the scenario to either adjust his minutes or lift the restriction entirely, according to Nat Newell and J. Michael of The Indianapolis Star.
Oladipo will be playing for the first time since Jan. 13, 2019.
He has averaged 21.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game in 111 games since joining the Pacers in a trade in 2017.
