Ricky Rubio’s much promising first season in NBA could come to an abrupt end as the Minnesota Timberwolves’ guard fears the worst scenario: that he might have torn his Achilles tendon.
The injury occurred during the dying seconds of the game against Lakers after Ricky Rubio and Kobe Bryant’s knees banged during a defensive effort by the Spanish international guard.
The state of his injury will be re-evaluated today, but there are fears that the player could miss the remainder of the season.
