Dallas Mavericks big man Dwight Powell is expected to have suffered a season-ending torn right Achilles tendon, according to Shams Charania.

In his first full season as a starter, Powell was averaging 9.6 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 64.0 percent from the field.
