Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard complimented his teammate Lou Williams following a narrow win over the New Orleans Pelicans (133-130).
Williams came up big time for the Clippers as he poured 32 points coming off the bench. Fourteen of those points came in the fourth quarter.
He also made a crucial 3-pointer to give the Clippers a 133-127 lead with just a little over 30 seconds left to play.
Leonard described Williams as a fearless scorer, per ESPN:
“Very talented scorer — fearless, just goes out there and plays the game,” Leonard said of Williams. “He pushed us to win that game in that fourth quarter. It just gives you relief that you have somebody that also can take over.”
