Blake Griffin underwent successful arthroscopic debridement of his left knee and will be sidelined indefinitely.
As announced by the Detroit Pistons, Griffin will undergo an extended rehabilitation period and there is no timetable for his return to action.
The six-time All-Star, who has missed 19 games this season, was averaging 15.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
The Pistons are at 13-24.
