Maccabi Tel-Aviv head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos confirmed that his team is trying to add another player to the roster.
The Israelis are dealing with injuries to key players and have already signed versatile guard Aaron Jackson.
“Yes, we are on the market, because I cannot continue only with Othello Hunter and as we are, we use some players a lot.
They’re overused and very tired, and we need to have solutions because of so many games with so small rotations…We already started to pay.
From Jackson, I expect his quality, his experience and he’s a player that for sure will help us,” the Greek coach told reporters following the heavy defeat to Anadolu Efes on Thursday (26/12).
Maccabi is at 11-5 in the EuroLeague.
