LA Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma was satisfied with his performance in his return to action on Sunday night (22/12).

“Tonight, I felt like me,” Kuzma said, per the Los Angeles Times.

Kuzma, who missed five games due to a sprained ankle, posted 16 points (7/15 shooting), four rebounds and two blocks in the Lakers’ heavy defeat to the Denver Nuggets at home (104-128).

The versatile forward has been dealing with injuries since the beginning of the season and is still struggling to find his role in the tactics.

“He’s not comfortable right now, but it’s impossible for him to be comfortable,” head coach Frank Vogel said after Sunday’s loss to the Nuggets, per the Los Angeles Times.

“He’s a young player with a whole new cast of teammates and a new coaching staff, a new system. So with younger guys, you know, it takes a little time sometimes, but he’s gonna be a huge, huge factor for us this year,” he added.

The Lakers are on a three-game losing streak at the moment and will face the Clippers on Christmas Day.
