Toronto Raptors star Kyle Lowry was unstoppable in the fourth quarter and led his team to a historic comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Lowry scored 20 of his 32 points (12/23 shooting) in the fourth quarter and helped Toronto outscore Dallas 47-21 and earn the victory.
“I just go out there and do my job as hard as I can,” Lowry (eight rebounds, 10 assists as well) said after the game. “If the coach would have pulled me, he’d pull me. Until then just go out there and work as hard as possible.
[In the fourth it was] ‘Just go play. We were just like, ‘look we’re going to try’. [Raptors head coach Nick Nurse] threw us the press and everyone just said, alright let’s do it,” Lowry added.
This was the biggest comeback in Raptors history. The team also completed the third 30-point comeback in the last 20 years.
Thanks to this epic win, Toronto improved to 21-8, whereas Dallas dropped to 21-10.
