Dwight Howard posted two points, grabbed seven boards, and blocked three shots in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 101-96 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night at State Farm Arena. After the game, Howard, who passed Manute Bal on the NBA’s all-time blocks list, talked on their 14th straight road victory:

“I think after the game a lot of us (were) upset at how we came out and started the game, we allowed the Hawks to run the score up tonight. So we know we have to do better but we understand that there might be some games like this and we have to find other ways to win,” Howard said, alluding to how his former team twice cut an eight-point, fourth-quarter lead for L.A. down to a one-possession game, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
