Slovenia were again not convincing, but they escaped with another win. This time edging out Ukraine 68-64.

Slovenia held Mike Fratello’s men to just eight points in the second quarter, as Ukraine found themselves 41-20 down at half-time.

Ukraine began the fourth quarter down 19 when suddenly, they turned into a totally different side. Outscoring Slovenia 26-11, but falling just short.

Mirza Begic hit 14 for Slovenia.

Russia had a hard time shaking off a tricky Georgia side, but eventually finished them off 65-58.

Andrei Kirilenko led Russia with 20 points.

Bulgaria earned their first Eurobasket win in over 9,851 days as they defeated Belgium 68-65.

In a close game throughout, Bulgaria’s Deyan Ivanov led Bulgaria to victory in the closing minutes as Belgium fell short.

EJ Rowland led all scorers with 22 points for the victors, while Sam Van Rossom led Belgium with 17.
