Fenerbahce Ulker are looking to rebuild the team for the new season by strengthening the squad. According to latest rumours, Jeremy Pargo could be directing Fenerbahce’s offense next season.

25-year-old American point guard enjoyed a successful season with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Since his contract with the Israeli club expires in summer the club has already presented the contract extension offer.

However, it seems that the demands of Pargo are more than Maccabi can handle at this time. Fenerbahce Ulker are reportedly holding talks with Pargo and are getting closer to acquiring his services for the next season.

Sarunas Jasikevicius was signed by the Turkish club as a back-up point guard but the veteran will be leaving the team in summer leacing a gap at the playmaker position.

Jeremy Pargo helped Maccabi go all the way to Euroleague final just to lose to eventual champions Panathinaikos. Pargo averaged 13 points, 4.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in his  Euroleague debut season.

The additional motivation to improve the roster for Fenerbahce was Euroleague’s decision to bring the Final Four to Istanbul for the next year.
