Fenerbahce and Real Madrid suffered another defeat in the EuroLeague and showed they are still in a crisis.

The Turks were decimated by Maccabi Tel-Aviv on the road (67-55) and lost for the fourth time in five games.

The Israelis took over from the opening tip and led by as many as 23 points (46-23). The Turks went on a 13-31 run and attempted to make a crazy come-back (59-54). However, Maccabi stood tall and closed the game on an 8-1 run of their own to seal the deal.

Omri Casspi led the way for the winners with 13 points, whereas Nando De Colo had 13 points for the losing squad.

Maccabi earned its third straight win and improved to 3-2. On the other hand, Fenerbahce remained in the bottom of the standings, with an 1-4 record.

In Munich, Bayern endured the come-back of Real Madrid (95-86) and handed the “Whites” their third straight loss (2-3).

The Bavarians earned a double-digit lead in the second quarter (33-23), yet the Spaniards cut the deficit to two at halftime, thanks to a 2-10 run (35-33).

For their part, the Germans never trailed in the second half (46-38, 67-57) and cruised to the victory, despite Real’s late attempt to turn things around (81-78).

Greg Monroe led the way for the winners with 18 points, whereas Anthony Randolph had a team-high 17 points for the losing squad.

Bayern Munich improved to 3-2, with Real dropping to 2-3.
