The Houston Rockets announced that Gerald Green underwent surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot.

Per the team, the 33-year-old guard/forward is expected to miss approximately six months as he performs rehabilitation.

Green got injured during Houston’s preseason game in Japan against the Toronto Raptors on October 10.

Even if Green recovers on time from the injury, it will be unlikely he will have any playing time in the postseason, given he would not have played or practiced with the team at all during the 82-game regular season.

Consequently, the 33-year-old player will most likely miss the entire season.
