The fourth round of the EuroLeague started on Thursday (24/10), with five games taking place and Real Madrid losing its second straight game.

In Istanbul, Anadolu Efes rallied past Real Madrid (76-60), earning the first victory over the “Whites” after eight attempts.

The Turks came back from a slow start and took control, thanks to a 22-2 run in the first half (22-13). Even though the Spaniards tried to turn things around many times, Efes stood tall and sealed the deal.

Bryant Dunston and Krunoslav Simon led the winners with 17 points apiece, whereas Sergio Llull had 14 points for the losing squad.

Anadolu Efes improved to 3-1, whereas Real Madrid dropped to 2-2.

In Russia, Panathinaikos overpowered Zenit Saint Petersburg and secured its first road win of the season (79-89).

The “Greens” were in front for the majority of the night and led by as many as 14 points (49-63). Yet, the hosts went on a 27-16 run to cut the deficit to three (76-79). But, the “Greens” closed the game on a 3-10 run of their own and claimed the win.

Jimmer Fredette had 22 points for the winners, whereas Mateusz Ponitka was the best player of the losing squad with 16 points.

Panathinaikos improved to 2-2, whereas Zenit dropped to 1-3.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv remained undefeated at home, after dominating Valencia at Menora Mivtachim Arena (76-63).

The Israelis were in front for the majority of the night and led by as many as 19 points in the fourth quarter, with the Spaniards never recovering after that.

Scottie Wilbekin had a team-high 14 points for the winners, whereas Jordan Loyd posted a game-high 17 points for the losing squad.

Maccabi improved to 2-2, whereas Valencia remained winless in the competition (0-4).

A 0-20 run early in the third quarter enabled Khimki to earn a 19-point lead (37-56) against Bayern Munich and register its first road win of the season (74-87).

Alexey Shved led the winners with a game-high 19 points, whereas Greg Monroe scored 18 points for the losing squad.

Khimki improved to 3-1, whereas Bayern Munich dropped to 2-2.

In Belgrade, Barcelona came back from a 13-point deficit and beat Crvena Zvezda (65-73) to maintain its perfect record (4-0).

The Serbians led by 13 in the second quarter (33-20), yet an 1-18 run in the second half let the Catalans take control and never look back.

Nikola Mirotic had a game-high 21 points for the winners, whereas James Gist posted 10 points for the losing squad.

Crvena Zvezda dropped to 1-3 in the standings.
