Kyrie Irving posted a game-high 50 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in his debut with the Brooklyn Nets, yet his team lost to the Timberwolves in overtime at Barclays Center on Wednesday (126-127). After the game, Irving talked on his teammates:

“They’re ready to protect you from anything and everything. Even when I missed my last shot. You saw my teammates run all the way down from the bench and surround [me], just a bunch of love. ‘We got you.’ There’s no better feeling than that,” Irving said.
